A Friday night in Brazil calls for a six-pack.

Each week, we'll come up with six observations from the game, before giving way to further analysis on the field.

The Packers started fast, but fell short late in the game, with an obvious dark cloud over the team now.

Jordan Love was injured, and there is no update at this time for what his prognosis is.

Here are six thoughts on the Packers' 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, including Love's injury.

    Game Ball: Jayden Reed

Jayden Reed might not be a traditional top receiver, but he is the Packers' best receiver as of now.

He led the team in receiving yards a season ago and picked up where he left off tonight.

He scored on the ground and in the air, which was a 70-yard touchdown.

His best play of the night gave the Packers a chance to win the game toward the end of it. An acrobatic reception put the Packers in range to potentially throw a hail mary.

Reed will likely be relied on more regardless of Love's injury status due to his dual-threat capability.

    Lame Ball: Jordan Love's Injury

Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game.

It's even more unfortunate when one of the game's stars goes down.

Jordan Love left tonight's game early with a lower body injury, and his status is currently uncertain.

If he's out for the rest of the year, the Packers' season for all intents and purposes, is over.

If he's only out for a few weeks, the Packers will have to survive that time without him.

Everything is up in the air at the moment, and that's an uneasy feeling for anyone in or following the Packers organization.

Play Of the Game: Jayden Reed Goes Long

The play of the game is why Jayden Reed received love for player of the game.

As the game transitioned from clunky to shootout, Jordan Love escaped the pocket and loaded up to throw the ball downfield.

Standing with nobody near him, was Jayden Reed.

Reed caught the ball, made a man miss, and did the rest from there.

The end result was a 70-yard touchdown reception that gave the Packers a 19-14 lead midway through the second quarter.

Pivot Point: Jaire Alexander's Interception, Leads to a Field Goal

With the Eagles leading 31-26 in the fourth quarter, they were looking at putting a stranglehold on the game.

    Jaire Alexander had other ideas.

Jalen Hurts rolled to his right before throwing back to his left. Something that quarterback coaches around the NFL call a mortal sin.

When the ball came down, Alexander was waiting for it and picked Hurts off before returning the ball to the 15.

The reason this was the pivot point, is because it could have flipped the game in Green Bay's favor.

Instead, the Packers were only able to muster a field goal try off of Alexander's interception.

That was the theme of the night. The Packers scored nine points off three turnovers. That's not going to cut it against a lot of teams, especially one that expects to be as good as the Eagles do.

    Red Zone Woes

The Packers could have easily been up 21-0 early in the game. They had a touchdown wiped off the board due to dueling 12 men on the field penalties.

That drive would end in a punt.

The Packers’ next two drives would start deep in Philadelphia territory thanks to two turnovers from Jalen Hurts.

Between penalties, and overall sloppy play, the Packers could only come up with six points with three drives that penetrated inside the Eagles’ 40 yard line. They had nine points off three Eagles turnovers.

It was reminiscent of last year’s Divisional Round loss to the 49ers, where the Packers moved up and down the field, but had little to show for it.

Leaving points on the field typically comes back to bite you.

In tonight’s case it absolutely bit the Packers.

"Nine points off three turnovers, that's not good enough." Matt LaFleur said post game.

    What's Next?

The Packers will return to Lambeau Field to take on the Indianapolis Colts in 10 days for their home opener.

Whether or not they'll have their starting quarterback, remains to be seen.
