Jordan Chiles Throws Out First Pitch at Mets Game in Stunning Style: Watch

Jordan Chiles achieved superstardom during her performance at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris last month, and she stepped onto another big stage while stateside Friday night.

Chiles threw out the first pitch for the Major League Baseball game between the New York Mets and the Cincinnati Reds at Citi Field on the evening of September 6. She posed for photos before heading to the mound in sunglasses, an all-black Mets jersey and an accompanying skirt.

Her heave came up just shy of home plate, where Mets outfielder Tyrone Taylor caught it off of one hop. However, Chiles rebounded immediately after short-arming the first pitch, raising her hands and breaking out a brief dance move while walking to meet Taylor -- all smiles.

The celebrated gymnast turned out to be a lucky charm for the Mets, who captured their 10th consecutive win Friday night via a two-run homer in extra innings off the bat of third baseman Mark Vientos .

Chiles has been all over the Big Apple the last couple of days, and Citi Field served only as her most recent stop on the tour. She attended the U.S. Open tennis tournament on Thursday before going viral Friday morning for her outfit as part of New York Fashion Week.

A photo Chiles posted of herself to Instagram had over 70,000 likes by early Saturday morning.
