ESPN's Lee Corso has long been a staple on the network's flagship pregame college football show, "College GameDay."

Throughout his impressive 38-year tenure on "College GameDay," Corso has upheld his tradition of sporting a team mascot's headgear to announce his pick for the most exciting game of the day.

However, Corso and co-host Kirk Herbstreit started a new tradition last season. Before they get on set together, Herbstreit videos Corso as the two meet to discuss the day's slate of games, make a pick or so, and share a video of them ready to hop on the air.

Before Saturday's massive showdown with Texas and Michigan, Corso leaked his pick for the winner before the crew even began the show.

In this week's edition of Herbstreit's video, Corso shared why he thinks Texas will take down Michigan.

"I think Texas is gonna win," Corso told Herbstreit "The difference will be Texas' speed. Team speed."

Corso continued, saying he predicts the Longhorns to win by a score of 17-14.

"If I was Michigan, I'd play a boring, ball-controlled offense. Keep the Longhorns on the sideline," Corso added.

Texas and Michigan were two of the four teams that made last season's College Football Playoff. Michigan went on to win the national championship, 34-13, over Washington.

Michigan will look a lot different this time around. It lost its starting quarterback, J.J. McCarthy, to the NFL, along with 17 other major contributors.

Texas, on the other hand, returns its quarterback, Quinn Ewers. He was listed on the preseason All-SEC team and is a projected first-round selection in next April's NFL draft.

The kickoff between the Longhorns and Wolverines is set for 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX.

Even on the road, Texas is a 6.5-point favorite.
