NFL Insider Drops Huge Jordan Love Injury Update

    By Michael Gallagher,

Though the severity of Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love’s injury still isn’t known, one possibility can be ruled out.

Video replay of Love’s injury showed his left knee popping as Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter wrapped up his legs and pulled him to the turf.

Many fans believed the 25-year-old QB suffered a torn ACL, but according to an update from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, those fans can breathe a sigh of relief after it was determined that’s not the case.

“Initial tests indicated Jordan Love’s ACL is intact,” Pelissero tweeted. “But there’s a wide range of outcomes based on additional scans, which will occur when the team gets back to Green Bay later today.”

The Packers are expected to land in Green Bay sometime Saturday morning/afternoon and Love will get an MRI done to assess the damage.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini also ruled out a second possibility.

“When the Packers land, Jordan Love will get an MRI,” Russini reported . “I’m told an ankle injury has been ruled out at this point. Right now, it’s just wait-and-see for more information on the injury.”

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur had a simple "I don't know" when he was asked about Love's status after Friday's game.
