Lee Corso’s Prediction for Texas-Michigan Draws Woeful Reaction from Michael Phelps

Noted Michigan Wolverines fan Michael Phelps joined the “College GameDay” crew in Ann Arbor as the guest picker for Week 2’s matchup against the Texas Longhorns, and he had the unfortunate luck of sitting next to Lee Corso when he made his prediction for the winner.

Corso hyped up Phelps and his fellow Wolverines fans, only to pull the rug out from under them at the last second.

“Michigan has won 23 straight here at Michigan Stadium,” Corso stated. “Michigan has the nation’s longest winning streak, 16. It’s the perfect place for Texas to beat them.”

Corso then pulled out Longhorn headgear to some resounding boos as Phelps showed his disapproval with an emphatic thumbs down after Corso’s surprising heel turn.

Phelps and Pat McAfee were the only ones on the Michigan bandwagon as Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit and Rece Davis all picked Texas as well.
