Chiefs' Justin Reid Responds to Ravens' Isaiah Likely

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 in the NFL season opener on Thursday, but it seems as though the feud between the two teams will go well past the game.

After the close loss, Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely had some choice words for Chiefs players in his press conference.

"This is probably the worst game that we'll play all year," Likely said. "So, if this is the best that they've got, good luck in the postseason."

Following the press conference, Chiefs safety Justin Reid went on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams and responded to Likely's comments.

"Well I hope it's their worst game, it's the first game of the season," said Reid. "I hope it's the worst game that anyone plays. If you're peaking right now, that's bad news come playoff time... I don't see the Kansas City Chiefs being the same team that we were [Thursday], I see us getting better as we keep going."

Reid and the Chiefs are no strangers to heating up in the playoffs. Last season, the team came into the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the AFC, and went on to win four-straight games (one of them in Baltimore) to win their second-straight Super Bowl.

While these two teams aren't set to face off again in the regular-season, I'm sure many fans would like to see a rematch between Baltimore and Kansas City in the postseason.
