Dak Prescott's Pregame Outfit After Becoming Highest-Paid NFL Player Is Turning Heads

After a drama-filled offseason, the Dallas Cowboys finally gave quarterback, Dak Prescott, the contract extension he's been seeking. They signed him to a massive four-year $240 million deal with $231 million guaranteed.

The front office reached an agreement with Prescott on Sunday just hours before kicking off against the Cleveland Browns at 4:25 P.M. Eastern.

Prescott made his first appearance since signing the contract when he arrived at the stadium. He walked out of the team bus around 12:40 P.M. Eastern looking incredibly sharp.

The $240 million man was spotted wearing what appears to be a uniquely patterned white and dark blue suit. He was welcomed with cheers from Cowboys fans as he headed to the locker room.

The Cowboys played hard ball with their franchise quarterback all offseason long. But at the end of the day, Prescott is slated to be the starting quarterback in Dallas through the 2028 season. He'll be 35-years old by the time the contract ends.

That should give the Cowboys plenty of time to find an eventual replacement while Prescott keeps them competitive. As of now, Dallas has former No. 3 overall pick, Trey Lance as the backup after trading for him from the San Francisco 49ers.

Prescott has been a rather reliable quarterback throughout his career despite the flack he's received from fans and media. Last season, the Cowboys star accumulated 4,516 passing yards, 38 total touchdowns, nine interceptions, and a 69.5 completion percentage.

Dallas is in a win-now situation with Prescott under center. Unfortunately, the franchise hasn't made a Super Bowl appearance since 1996 when they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-17.

We'll see how Dallas fairs this year after having a less-than-exciting offseason. The two biggest moves the franchise made was extending Prescott and superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who signed a four-year $136 million contract with $100 million guaranteed.

Prescott and the Cowboys make their 2024 season debut against the Browns on Sunday. It's a tough matchup to begin the season, as Cleveland has a solid defense and an offense with weapons galore.

But with both offensive superstars given new contracts, Dallas hopes to remain competitive in the NFC North and finally end their 28-year long Super Bowl drought.
