Through the first 30 minutes at Highmark Stadium, the Buffalo Bills trail the Arizona Cardinals 17-10. While the scoreboard indicates the Bills' offense has struggled, it is worth noting that the Cardinals have possessed the ball for nearly 20 minutes, compared to Buffalo's 9:54.

After receiving the opening kickoff, the Cardinals drove 70 yards in 13 plays, as Kyler Murray completed four of his five passes for 44, with his final completion being a five-yard touchdown strike to Michael Wilson.

However, the Cardinals did have a controversial unnecessary roughness penalty in their favor. On a third-and-long scramble, Murray went to slide for a six-yard gain, but as he went down, he was hit by Bills cornerback Ja'Marcus Ingram.

The Cardinals' good start turned great, as a first-down sack saw Josh Allen cough the ball up, allowing Arizona to recover the fumble. Luckily for the Bills, however, that only turned into three points, as the Cardinals were forced to settle for a 29-yard field goal.

After turning the ball over in scoring position on their first drive, the Bills took it out of Allen's hand for their second attempt at getting points. Cook ran it seven times for 40 yards as he helped set up a 37-yard field goal for Tyler Bass.

The Cardinals would then find the endzone again as James Conner capped off another 13-play Arizona drive with a three-yard touchdown run.

Working the two-minute drill, the Bills offense started to show more signs of life. Allen completed all three passes for 39 yards, helping set Buffalo up inside the redzone. That is where Allen would take matters into his own hands, tucking the ball and running seven yards for the touchdown.

After deferring to the second half, the Bills will receive the ball first to kick off the third quarter as they look to overcome their seven-point deficit and beat the Cardinals.
