Make a Wish! Knicks' Miles McBride Celebrates Birthday

Not only is today the birthday of former New York Knicks star Latrell Sprewell, but one of their current players is also celebrating today.

One of the team's key player is their backup point guard, Miles McBride, and he is celebrating his 24th birthday today. He has steadily improved ever since he came into the league, and he could become even more of a key part of the Knicks' rotation this season.

The Knicks signed former Phoenix Suns point guard Cameron Payne this offseason, but with McBride's versatile play style, he will still find himself in a lot of different lineups for the Knicks.

He averaged eight points per game on some solid shooting percentages this past season, and he will be looking to build on that this season. He has improved an impressive amount since he came into the league in 2021, and the Knicks hope he can continue that trend.

If McBride can continue to improve and be a solid scoring option whenever star point guard Jalen Brunson is on the bench, he could help the Knicks contend with the likes of the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference.
