Insider Reveals 'Pact' Taylor Swift Made With Brittany Mahomes

The pair sparked speculation when they were seen seated separately at the Kansas City Chiefs season opener. Swift sat with boyfriend Travis Kelce's family in their suite, while Mahomes sat in another suite with her children.

But the singer was seen sitting with the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes at the U.S. Open men's final on Sunday, with the two sharing an embrace and quashing rumors of a rift.

Mahomes and Swift have been close since the singer started dating Kelce last year. They have often been spotted together, including an end-of-summer get-together at Swift's mansion in Rhode Island.

While some fans speculated that differing politics could be driving the friends apart, a source told The Daily Mail that they have vowed not to let that get in the way of a friendship.

"Taylor is not going to be written into this anti-Brittany narrative because they have made a pact to not discuss politics," the source told the outlet. "They both know it can tear apart friendships and they respect that they have different views."
