Jordan Chiles Turns Heads With One-of-a-Kind Kicks in Glamorous New York Event: Look

Jordan Chiles has transitioned from U.S. Olympic gymnast/gold medal winner and worldwide celebrity to fashion star -- at least for this week.

Chiles has been all over the Big Apple in recent days, making appearances at the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament and a WNBA contest between the New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces . She also walked the runway at New York Fashion Week , after which her appearance went viral.

And somewhere in midst of all that high-profile action, Chiles found time to throw out the first pitch for the New York Mets on Friday, September 6, when they took on the Cincinnati Reds .

During her trip to the mound, Chiles could be seen rocking a new pair of Nike Air Max sneakers that have not yet been released for public purchase. Riley Jones of Footwear News described Chiles' kicks in an article published on September 8.

"The new Nike Air Max sneakers featured a black mesh base with large synthetic silver overlays and three oval pods near the front," Jones wrote . "A large visible Air Max bubble can be seen at the heel, and there’s also a new Air Max logo on the tongue."

Chiles has an endorsement deal with Nike and has exploded in popularity following the Summer Olympic Games in Paris last month.
