Browns Fans Convinced They've Found Deshaun Watson's Burner Account

Cleveland Browns fans are convinced they've found Deshaun Watson's burner account following the team's Week 1 blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Watson had a rough debut against the Cowboys on Sunday. He faced relentless pressure, threw two interceptions, and Cleveland suffered a 33-17 loss in a game that wasn’t nearly as close as the score suggests.

The Browns traded for Watson in 2022, pulling off a blockbuster for the former Pro Bowl quarterback to replace Baker Mayfield. Cleveland sent a trio of first-round picks to the Houston Texans and handed Watson a fully guaranteed $230 million contract.

Watson has appeared in just 13 games since the trade, with 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in those contests.

Browns fans theorized that Watson created a burner after the loss to defend himself. The account "LeroyBickers4" was created recently but didn't start posting anything until shortly after the game. Watson is the only person the account follows.

"4 does nothing but put his blood sweat and tears into this team and this how yall treat him," the account wrote . "I see why Bron left twice. 4 gotta get outta town and continue greatness somewhere else."

The post drew more than 40 responses, with many suspicious of the account's activity.

"Come get this dude, Browns. Not even an hour after the game is done and (Deshaun Watson) tweetin on a burner," one fan wrote .

Another fan voiced their frustration , commenting, "Please leave town Deshaun." Echoing that sentiment, one simply added , "This is def him. LMAO bum"

The "Leroy Bickerstaff" account continued to defend Watson across several threads, citing the lack of offensive line protection and criticizing head coach Kevin Stefanski's playcalling.

"No protection. Sorry play calling. Deshaun did all he could today he’s the furthest thing from the problem," the account wrote .

Fans were convinced Watson was the man behind the account.

"Deshaun Watson really went out and made a burner account to defend himself after that embarrassing loss," one post read , documenting all of the comments with a video.

Watson and the Browns will look to turn things around next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
