Caitlin Clark Goes Ricky Bobby on Fan

    By Lance Roberson,

Caitlin Clark is a lightning rod of financial success for the WWNB. The Iowa alum brought a legion of supporters to the league and has helped the notoriety of an otherwise losing team, the Indiana Fever. Of Indiana's 40 games, 36 are nationally televised. Clark's superstardom continues after a fan politely requests the rookie All-Star for a peculiar favor.

While most fans want their favorite players to sign a photo, a ball, or even a pair of shoes, a mother had something more precious to use: her baby .

Clark pulled a Ricky Bobby by signing a mother's baby. Thankfully, Clark opted to sign the baby's shirt, not the head. Two ladies even allowed Clark to hold the baby at what seemed like a restaurant. A two-week-old baby, "Clark's biggest fan," received an autograph from the most popular female athlete outside the Williams sisters and Simone Biles.

Before Clark left, she took a picture with the group of fans.

During the interaction, Clark made a shockingly hilarious admission of a prior autograph experience. The WNBA All-Star claimed she signed an ultrasound.

Although the baby won't remember such a moment, hopefully, their mother saves this video as a reminder of how good Clark is to her fans, regardless of age.

Clark has playoff fever as the seven-seed in the WNBA. The Fever plays the Phoenix Mercury on Friday at 7:30 Eastern Time. The last time Indiana played Phoenix, the former team beat the latter 95-86.
