MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports a deceased body was found in the North Fork River on Saturday, July 20. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies, along with personnel from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, and the Elliston Fire Department responded to reports of a body found in the river near Cannery Road in Elliston.
