    Conference: ACC

    2023 Record: 7-6

    Head Coach: Brent Key

    Key Player: QB Haynes King

    2024 Recruiting Class Ranking: 35th

Top Games: Florida State (Ireland), Notre Dame, Miami, @ Georgia

Georgia Tech has seen a sort of revival under Brent Key . He took over for Geoff Collins and his positive impact has been seen immediately. Collins failed to exceed three wins in a season in his time on the flats and Key was able to win seven in his first full season at the helm. He is a Tech grad who really cares and has done a tremendous job. The transfer portal was taken advantage of by the Yellow Jackets and that is seen with starting quarterback Haynes King , who came over from Texas A&M after the 2022 season.

King has done really well at Tech and I expect more of the same in 2024. He threw for 2,842 yards and 27 touchdowns last season, adding 10 touchdowns on the ground. They will be tested, however, as they take on FSU in Ireland, have Notre Dame and Miami at home, and make the short trip to Athens to take on Georgia. Not to mention games vs the likes of Louisville, NC State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Duke. They most definitely have one of the toughest ACC schedules. We'll get a good sense on if Georgia Tech can make the next step in week 0 when they face the Seminoles.
