    Allisha Gray.

Fittingly, during a season that's seen the WNBA reach new heights in popularity, the 2024 All-Star skills and three-point contest played host to history.

Allisha Gray, a guard for the Atlanta Dream, became the first WNBA player ever to win both competitions.

First, Gray took the All-Star skills competition. She posted identical times in rounds one and two, completing the course in 32.1 seconds to seal her first title.

Moving on to the three-point competition, Gray dominated again. After dropping 23 points in the first round, she outpaced Jonquel Jones of the New York Liberty in the finals, finishing with 22 points to earn another trophy.

Friday's historic performance was also quite lucrative for Gray, paying her $55,000 for each victory for a total of $110,000. That number is significant because it's more than double the salary she earned as a rookie despite being a top-five pick.

Likewise, the payday isn't far off from what she'll make in 2024 ($185,000).

Gray was selected No. 4 overall by the Dallas Wings in the 2017 WNBA Draft, winning Rookie of the Year honors. After six seasons with the Wings, she joined the Dream in 2023, earning her first career All-Star inclusion last season before making it back-to-back nods this year.

Gray has been a standout this year with the Dream, averaging 15.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 24 games. And now, her name will forever be etched in the history books following her incredible and unique accomplishment on Friday night.
