Auburn pitcher Cameron Keshock entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. He played two seasons with the program.

The Spanish Fort (Ala.) native will now look elsewhere to continue his college baseball career. He appeared in 10 games across two seasons for the Tigers.

This past year, Keshock appeared in five games, going 5.1 innings, allowed eight hits, six earned runs, issued three walks and had seven strikeouts.

Over the course of his career, Keshock has 8.1 innings pitched, 10 strikeouts, 18 hits allowed, 18 earned runs allowed and issued five walks.

Coming into college, Keshock was the No. 16 player and No. 5 right-handed pitcher in the state of Alabama by Perfect Game. He went 1-0 with a 0.90 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 22.1 innings in parts of three summers on the Perfect Game circuit.

Cameron Keshock out of the SEC?

Keshock will likely have his options moving forward as he evaluates what he wants to do with his college career. That could mean leaving the SEC.

The conference was dominant in the spring, in terms of baseball and softball. Commissioner Greg Sankey couldn’t help but rave.

“We’ve had a good June, a great June, actually,” Sankey said. “We’ve got two new members that met for the softball national championship – Oklahoma and Texas .

“Then you jump into baseball. We have these high expectations. You never know what might happen. We had an equal split between us and the ACC in Omaha. To watch the way Texas A&M and Tennessee have moved through their seasons but also moved through this tournament and now have this championship opportunity for both is really exciting.”
