Class of 2026 four-star defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright visited Auburn for the Tigers’ Big Cat recruiting event on Saturday.

Perry-Wright, who attends Buford (Ga.) High School, was one of several top recruits at the event.

“It was good. It was very fun being here all day for two days,” he said. “I came (Friday) after practice.”

    The highlights of the day?

“All the people to come together for Big Cat,” he said. “They could have went anywhere, but they came to Big Cat. And the scavenger hunt was real fun.”

Perry-Wright spent a lot of time with Auburn defensive line coach Vontrell King-Williams.

“Good guy. We talk every day or every other day,” he said. “He was my scavenger hunt guy. We were riding the golf carts together all day. I’ve been spending a lot of time with him. He’s a real good coach.”

Perry-Wright saw Auburn add three top 2026 recruits to its commitment list on Saturday. The Tigers’ ’26 class finished the day ranked No. 1 in the country.

“That’s big,” he said. “In one day? That’s big. That means they can do it.”

Perry-Wright understands why. Auburn, he said, is high on his list.

“They stand pretty high,” he said. “I don’t really have any rankings or anything, but they’re high for me in my standings.”

As for a timeline for a decision, he doesn’t plan to make one anytime soon.

“I don’t know if I’ve made an actual timeline,” he said. “I’m just going to let God take me where he takes me. I’m taking my time. I don’t really have a set date.”
