Auburn has 19 commitments in its 2025 recruiting class with eight projected to play on offense. Needless to say, there is still work to be done before the early signing period begins in December.

What is left for Auburn on offense in the 2024 class? Who are the top recruits at each position and what are Auburn’s chances with each?

The Hot Board has the answers.

Below are the recruits I believe are the top targets at each position and my guesses at Auburn’s chances of signing them. Keep in mind, the percentages are Auburn’s chances against the field.

    On3 Team Recruiting Ranking

    Quarterbacks (1)

Name (star rating) Hometown OV Previous Current
    Deuce Knight (4) Lucedale, Miss. ND/50% ND/55%
    K.J. Lacey (4) Saraland, Ala. TX/40% TX/20%
    Julian Lewis (5) Carrollton, Ga. 6/14 USC/20% USC/15%

The top target at quarterback continues to be Knight. Although he did not visit for Big Cat, I still think Auburn has a good shot to flip him from Notre Dame, maybe even a slight edge.

    Running backs (2-3)

Name (star rating) Hometown OV Previous Current
Alvin Henderson (4) Elba, Ala. 9/27 AU AU
    Ousmane Kromah (4) Leesburg, Ga. 5/17 50% 50%
    Daune Morris (3) Murfreesboro, Tenn. 6/14 USC/45% USC/40%
    Shekai Mills-Knight (3) Chattanooga, Tenn. 6/10 45% 35%
    Anthony Rogers (4) Montgomery, Ala. ALA/15% ALA/15%

Henderson and Kromah both visited for Big Cat on Saturday and I think the two continue to be the ideal RB pairing for Auburn. The Tigers and Florida State seem to be battling for Kromah, who could be closing in on a decision.

    Wide receivers (2-3)

Name (star rating) Hometown OV Previous Current
    Derick Smith (4) Selma, Ala. 6/7 ALA/50% ALA/60%
    Sam Turner (3) Atlanta, Ga. GT/45% GT/60%
    Caleb Cunningham (5) Ackerman, Miss. 5/31 25% 25%
    Tristan Norman (3) Montgomery, Ala. A&M/25% A&M/25%
    Travis Smith (4) Atlanta, Ga. 6/7 TENN/10% TENN/10%
Jerome Myles (4) West Jordan, Utah 10% 10%
    Dallas Wilson (5) Tampa, Fla. ORE/10% ORE/10%

Auburn could be on the verge of making big moves at wide receiver. Smith attended Big Cat on Saturday and, maybe just as important, did not attend Alabama’s event on Sunday. The Tigers seem to be trending in the right direction to flip him. Same for Turner. He was at Big Cat and Auburn appears to be making a big move for him. He plans to announce an Auburn or Georgia Tech decision soon.

    Tight ends (3)

Name (star rating) Hometown OV Previous Current
Ryan Ghea (3) Milton, Ga. 6/14 AU AU
Hollis Davidson (3) Peachtree City, Ga. 6/14 AU AU

Auburn has Davidson and Ghea committed and will look to add a third tight end in the class via the transfer portal.

    Offensive line (5-7)

Name (star rating) Hometown OV Previous Current
Broderick Shull (4) Bixby, Okla. 5/31 AU AU
Tavaris Dice (4) Fairburn, Ga. 6/7 AU AU
Tai Buster (3) Kannapolis, N.C. 5/31 AU AU
Spencer Dowland (3) Athens, Ala. AU AU
Jacobe Ward (3) Savannah, Ga. 6/7 AU AU
    Andrew Babalola (5) Overland Park, Kan. 5/17 35% 35%
    Malachi Goodman (4) Paramus, N.J. 5/17 35% 35%
    Carde Smith (4) Mobile, Ala. 6/14 20% 15%

Auburn has five committed and continue to push hard for both Babalola and Goodman. The Tigers have a chance with both, but Michigan is the presumed favorite for Babaloa and Penn State for Goodman.
