The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office responded to a drowning call in Mount Sydney on March 21. When deputies arrived on scene, a 2-month-old infant received life-saving measures. Staunton man hospitalized after leading police on chase, flipping truck
A Staunton man fled from Augusta County sheriff’s deputies in his vehicle last weekend before flipping the truck on its side and getting injured. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office said warrants will be served on 48-year-old Michael David Keys Sr. when he is released from the hospital. Keys will be charged with felony eluding, driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and misdemeanor destruction of property.
