    Three teens charged in shooting death of 19-year-old at Augusta apartment complex

    The Richmond County Sheriff's Office arrested three teens in connection to the shooting death of a 19-year-old Saturday at an Augusta apartment complex.

    Nasceir Damiano Tywan Mitchell, 18; Devin Anthony Garnett, 19; and, Terrell Miller, 16, are charged with murder and possession of a gun during a crime in reference to the death of 19-year-old Elijah Oliver, of Augusta, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Mitchell and Miller are from Augusta. Information on Garnett's residence wasn't immediately available on Thursday.

    Just after 12:45 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to The Pointe at Augusta on the 2400 block of Acapulco Drive, for shots fired, according to previous reporting .

    When deputies arrived, they found Oliver in the parking lot, The Chronicle reported. He was shot at least once and pronounced dead just before 1:30 a.m. at the Wellstar/MCG emergency room.
