DENVER ( KDVR ) — A man was shot outside of an Aurora gas station, and police are looking for the two suspects involved.

On Wednesday at around 5:15 a.m., Aurora Police Department officers were called to a gas station in the 3300 block of South Tower Road in the Aurora Knolls – Hutchinson Heights neighborhood.

According to police, the victim got into a verbal argument with an unknown man inside the gas station. The two men exited the gas station and continued to argue.

In the middle of the argument, police said the victim was shot by “an unknown associate” of the other man. The two suspects fled the gas station and were last seen leaving in a blue sedan.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Aurora police said they do not have more information on the vehicle or descriptions of the suspects. Police do not believe the victim and the suspects knew each other.

Anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or has information on the suspects is asked to call the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward.
