A public meeting to discuss a study reconstruction of the St. Louis County State-Aid Highway (CSAH) 100 corridor in Aurora, is being held Tuesday.

The meeting, the second to be held on the project, is at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, at Aurora Community Center, 15 West First Avenue North in Aurora.

The outcome of the study will result in the preferred layout for the Highway 100 corridor, according to St. Louis County.

The corridor being examined by the study begins 0.22 miles east of Minnesota Trunk Highway 135 and ends at County State-Aid Highway 110.

The Highway 100 corridor runs through Aurora’s downtown district.

Reconstruction of the 1.83 miles is planned for 2026.

According to St. Louis County, key focus areas of the corridor study include:

    • Completing an intersection evaluation of Main Street and Third Avenue.

    • Developing a typical section(s) for the CSAH 100 corridor.

    • Develop a 2D (aerial view) layout for the CSAH 100 corridor.

St. Louis County is asking citizens to share their insights, experiences and questions at the public meeting as the county looks to develop a community-supported vision before the project is developed.

The meeting will also be broadcast virtually at https://bit.ly/CSAH100Meeting.
