Six arrested after trespassing incident involving masks and machete, police say
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Six people are facing charges in Grand Island after a trespassing incident that police say involved masks and a machete. It happened around 4:45 Friday afternoon in the central part of town. A news release says police received a call about several people wearing masks and threatening people inside of a house. Investigators say Emily Rodriguez recruited Johnathan Mason, Jesus Patino, Adam Diaz-Archer and Austin Baker to fight the people inside the house.
Hastings man charged for selling 2,500 fentanyl pills to undercover officers
HASTINGS, Neb. — A Hastings man faces charges after selling more than 2,000 Fentanyl pills during a controlled purchase now faces federal charges. Carlos Lopez Montoya, 30, is charged in U.S. District Court with conspiracy to distribute Fentanyl resulting in death and conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of fentanyl analogue.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A November trial is scheduled for a Grand Island man on felony charges connected to coercing a teen into joining a motorcycle club. Jay Friedricksen, 33, is now charged with aiding and abetting theft, unlawful membership recruitment and conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking.
