Just because the pumpkin spice latte is almost available doesn't mean the Texas heat is going anywhere anytime soon.

Texans might wonder when the weather will begin to cool.

When will Texas see cooler temperatures?

In Texas, the weather typically cools down in late September to early October, as forecasted by The Old Farmers Almanac. Average highs are typically in the mid to upper 80s, with lows in the mid to upper 60s in September.

The intensity of the heat reduces, especially in the evenings and mornings.

However, this can vary depending on the specific region of Texas. Northern areas, like the Panhandle, may experience cooler weather earlier, while southern regions, like the Rio Grande Valley, might stay warm a bit longer.

By late October to November, most of Texas generally enjoys more comfortable fall temperatures. Average highs drop to the mid to upper 70s, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

The region may experience increased rain chances as we move into early September as well. However, the overall amount of rainfall might still be below average for the month.
