In Your Community: 4-H holds rabbit clinic

The local 4-H hosted a rabbit coat genetics clinic that was held last night April 18.

The clinic was held to discuss with the 4-H members how there are only two basic colors of domestic rabbits, black and chocolate, and with the different genes that there are, there can be endless possibilities in coat colors and patterns.

After the genetics talk, Jake Mueller, a vet tech, talked about rabbit diseases.
