Duplicate Bridge

July always starts out with a bang with the 4th day being the birthday of our country; not so with our Duplicate club, which is held at the Senior Center on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week, games starting at 11:30 a.m. both days.

Players from Rose Creek, Mason City, Albert Lea and Austin played this week.

Tuesday’s winners were: first place, Bill Momsen and Larry Crowe, second place, Jim Fisher and Dave Ring, and third place, Barb and Orrin Roisen.

Wednesday’s winners were: first place, Dave Ring and Gail Schmidt, second place, Tom Flaherty and Stan Schultz, third place Carloyne Higgins and Connie Johnson, tied for fourth place, Jaynard Johnson and John Karnes, and Norm Blaser and Mike Leidal.
