Maad Lamb, a Houston-based halal Chinese concept, will soon build up an Austin location at 7010 Easy Wind Dr, according to recent public records.

“Welcome to Maad Lamb Cuisine, a culinary haven nestled in the heart of Houston, TX, where the tantalizing aroma of succulent lamb dishes beckons you to indulge in an unforgettable dining experience,” the official website states.

“Our passion for lamb is at the core of our culinary journey. At Maad Lamb Cuisine, we take pride in crafting delectable lamb dishes that cater to all palates. From savory lamb skewers bursting with flavor to the mouthwatering BBQ Lamb Foreshank, our menu showcases the diverse possibilities of this exceptional meat.”

Readers can expect a small but robust menu of appetizers, BBQ-grilled meats and soups that represent this lesser-explored aspect of Chinese cuisine in the US culinary landscape.

The “Interior remodel and build out a restaurant” will cost an estimated $248,000 to construct, aiming to finish by June.

No opening date has been set.
