Texas Devilhorns? SEC Media Day backdrops had unfortunate positioning

    Well, this was awkward.

The Texas football team's grand entrance to SEC membership arrived Wednesday in its home state. Coach Steve Sarkisian exuded confidence in his quarterbacks, starting QB Quinn Ewers showed up dressed like J.R. Ewing from Dallas, and vibes were immaculate.

Except for the time that the Longhorns spent on the actual dais. That was hell ... or at least it made it look like the Horns were living there.

    No, really:

That's, well, it's unfortunate. Obviously, Texas fans will be hoping that this isn't an omen for what's to come in 2024. Or perhaps it will, and Texas will be the team putting everyone else through hell (proverbially, of course). Either way, it'll be up to SEC officials to ensure that Texas' Hook Em logo is just a scosh higher or lower come 2025.
