Delicious Bites at the Taste of Ave

The Taste of Ave event, held on Saturday, Feb. 3 in the Town Center, brought together Ave Maria residents and attendees for a day of community spirit and gastronomic delights. People enjoyed live performances by hometown bands, including Steinbeck Way and the Back Country Boys, while sampling a variety of culinary offerings from Ave Maria’s diverse restaurants and local food vendors. Throughout the event, booths showcased products and services from small businesses, charities, and Ave Maria University, alongside the Biz Kids Expo, highlighting emerging entrepreneurs. Families enjoyed interactive sports activities, face painting, and Adam’s Animal Encounters, while the Ave Maria Veterans Association and Veterans Club of Del Webb Naples hosted charity raffles. Collier County Sheriff ’s Office and Fire Department representatives provided valuable safety tips, and to honor their service, first responders and veterans received a complimentary drink ticket to redeem at The Pub & Grill at Ave Maria. It was a vibrant and inclusive celebration, fostering connections and support within the Ave Maria community.
