Saratoga Gets Its Own Pro Basketball Team
SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Spa City will soon be adding a new attraction: a professional basketball team called the Saratoga Racers. The Racers will be part of the American Basketball Association (ABA), a re-launched version of the legendary 1970s league that once featured stars such as “Dr. J” Julius Erving and Moses Malone. Albany man faces drug charges after traffic stop
An Albany man is accused of possessing cocaine, meth and cannabis. Albany County Sheriff’s deputies stopped Malik Jackson, 41, in the area of Livingston Avenue and Henry Johnson Boulevard around 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. They found 13 grams of cocaine, 10 grams of meth and 5.1 pounds of cannabis, police said.
