    This weekend in D.C., check out Adams Morgan Day, Bruce Springsteen at Nats Park, DC Bike Ride, an Asian culture festival and more.


    1. ❤️ Celebrate AdMo

    The 46th annual Adams Morgan Day is this weekend.

    Why it matters: D.C.'s longest standing neighborhood celebration will have performances from local dance troops, hip hop artists, drummers, food from neighborhood vendors and more.

    If you go: Programming is noon-7pm Sunday along 18th Street. Free.

    Anna's thought bubble: Bring your dancing and walking shoes, the AdMo festival is always packed with terrific musical and visual artists as well as tasty eats from local restaurants.

    What's next: The neighborhood just set a date for the popular Adams Morgan Fall Porchfest on Nov. 2.

    2. 🧑‍🌾 DC State Fair

    • The 15th annual fair will include over 50 local makers, food vendors and live performances, and there will be more than 60 blue-ribbon competitions 10am-5pm Saturday in Franklin Park.

    3. 🎙️ Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band

    4. 🎨 Takoma Park Folk Festival

    • Enjoy a day of music, craft shows, international food and children's activities Sunday at Takoma Park Middle School. Free. See full schedule here .

    5. 🌏 US Asian Fest

    • Celebrate Asian cultures through live performances, food and drinks, cosplay contests, a vendor market and more 2-9pm Saturday at One Loudoun. Tickets start at $25 .

    6. 🥁 Be a Drummer for a Day

    • Learn how to drum and samba with Batalá, a local all-women Afro-Brazilian drumming group 10am-1pm Saturday at Hancock Park. Free .

    7. 🚲 DC Bike Ride

    • Ride though 20 miles of car-free streets to support local nonprofits and enjoy a festival at the finish line with food and live music. The ride starts at 8am Saturday. Ride passes start at $85 .

    8. 🥇 Legends & Legacy Celebration

    • Celebrate women's sports with panel discussions hosted by sports journalist Jemele Hill, family-friendly activities, music, mini golf, and a U.S. Open Women's Championship watch party noon-8pm Saturday at District Pier at The Wharf. Free. Register here .
