A cat cafe comes to Beacon Hill

Beacon Hill's new cat cafe will soon start taking reservations to let people meet their felines.

• Staffers have suggested reservations could open up by late August, but a recent cafe newsletter notes that it all depends on the cats' comfort level.
• "We'll add additional cats when they're ready for new friends and won't invite visitors until everyone is properly settled into their new permanent home," the newsletter states.

• Who I saw: Elinor and Bug, a mother-daughter pair of black cats. Also, a white cat that stared into my soul (possibly Lucky).

Plus: There is a bathroom, despite the tight quarters.

Protip: Don't let the lack of signage fool you. It's the storefront beneath the Capitol Realty Group sign.
