    Halfway through August already? Here's what's happening this weekend.

    πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ The Spirit of Japan festival , a three-day cultural event, celebrates peace and invites attendees to enjoy Japanese cuisines, performances, vendors, guest speakers and live music.


    • Miami Beach Convention Center. Begins Friday at 2pm. Ends Sunday 9pm.
    • Tickets start at $25. Free for children under 12.

    🎨 Art + Mind Day at the Arsht Center for a celebration of art and wellness.

    • The event features poetry, music, theater, workshops and more with local artists to highlight the importance of the arts on well-being.
    • Saturday, 10am. Free with RSVP .

    🎞️ The second-annual Chroma Art Film Festival is a festival showcasing art installations and films from around the world.

    • Saturday and Sunday, 11am-11pm. Tickets start at $20. Free for children under 12.

    πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ¨ Atomik Workshop at the Miami Children's Museum.

    • The Miami street artist will guide a hands-on workshop for children to engage with their creative side.
    • Sunday, 12pm-2pm. Tickets start at $16 for Florida residents.
