Athletes with University of Arkansas ties win medals

Six current and former Razorback athletes won a combination of four gold medals, two silvers and two bronze at the recent Summer Olympics in Paris, the university's highest medal count since 1948, according to a news release .

The athletes include:

• Roje Stona — gold medal for discus.
• Kelsey Plum — gold medal in basketball.
• Kaylyn Brown — gold and silver medals as a member of the U.S. relay teams.
• Wayne Pinnock — silver medal in long jump.
• Chris Bailey — gold as a member of the U.S. relay team.
• Amber Anning — two bronze medals as a member of Great Britain's relay teams.
