Southsiders rejoice, because Zorch Pizza Parlor — the South Richmond outpost for the popular Carytown slice joint — opened this week.

    • Locals will find a larger menu and dining room than in owner Rob Zorch's Carytown flagship, plus video games and outdoor seating in the former Don't Look Back South spot.

    • On the menu are Zorch's traditional and speciality pies, like The Upside Down, Wing Night, Grandma, and vegan cheese and pepperoni ($23-$32), plus sandwiches included a cheesesteak, vegan cheesesteak and buffalo chicken ($16-$20), salads, apps, and cake slices from Fat Rabbit round out the menu.
    • Unlike the Carytown spot, the Parlor will only offer slices on Fridays and Saturdays, per Richmond Magazine , but there's plenty of fun to make up for it, including Mortal Kombat and X-Men video games, backyard seating, and an expanded cocktail program .

🍕 Zorch Pizza Parlor is now open Tuesday- Thursday, 3:30-10pm and Friday- Sunday from 11:30am-11pm.

🥯 Further down the road, South Richmond will have its own bagel shop next month when Baltiks Bagel opens in the former Go Bird spot on Forest Hill.

🫗 Sad news for folks on The Hill, 8 1/2 will close its Church Hill outpost at the end of the year when its lease is up, the takeout spot said on its Instagram.
