Veterans receive free dental care at UNMC Dental College
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Everyone deserves to smile and to be proud of that smile, but scores of veterans across the country, can’t afford the care they need. Sounds of whirring dental equipment filled the air inside the University of Nebraska Medical Center Dental College on Friday. Veterans in the Veterans Smile Dental Clinic receive free care at the college, regardless of how big or small the procedure is.

Hastings man sentenced for threatening neighbors with gun
HASTINGS, Neb. — A Hastings man charged with threatening his neighbors with a rifle has been sentenced. According to Adams County District Court records, Anthony Copley, 21, was sentenced Wednesday to four years probation on charges of attempted possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and terroristic threats.

HASTINGS — The Adams County Fairfest opening ceremonies were held during the evening of Wednesday, July 15. The master of ceremonies for the event was Y102’s Lisa Williams.
