SWVa murder suspect arrested in Danville
(Danville) — A third suspect in a murder out in far southwest Virginia was arrested over the weekend here in Danville. It happened in April near some ATV trails in Lee County. That’s the furthest point west in Virginia. State Police this weekend announced the arrest of 41-year old Virginia Redden of Ewing-Virginia in Danville. No details were released on exactly where she was picked up.
Juveniles in custody after car break-ins in Danville
DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - Three juveniles have been taken into custody by police investigating car break-ins in Danville, according to Danville Police. July 3, just before 5 a.m., officers were called to Hermitage Drive about people breaking into vehicles. Officers saw three people running from a running vehicle, which police saw being driven away. That vehicle was later found crashed and unoccupied on Setliff Street. The vehicle’s owner later reported the vehicle had been stolen from her home on Holbrook Street.
