A woman died at her Tempe office and was found 4 days later. Here's what to know

A Tempe woman was found dead at her office last week, four days after clocking in without anyone noticing.

Tempe police are investigating the death of 60-year-old Denise Prudhomme, who was found dead on Aug. 20.

Where did she work?

Prudhomme worked at the Wells Fargo corporate office building near Priest Drive and Washington Street in Tempe.

The office building is not a bank but a local headquarters.

When and where was she found?

According to police, Prudhomme, had scanned into her office at 7 a.m. on Aug. 16 and did not scan out again.

Four days later on Aug. 20, she was found dead at her desk. Security guards called police who confirmed her death later that day.

What caused her of death?

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner has not released a cause of death yet and detectives are still investigating the case though they have said there were no immediate signs of foul play.

Why did it take so long to find her?

She had come to the office on a Friday, and people familiar with the office said that the part of the building she worked in had most of its employees work from home and that guards did not patrol between cubicles.

She was discovered Tuesday at her end of the third floor, despite employees having worked in the building, including other areas of the third floor, on both Monday and Tuesday.
