LSU still in contention for decommitted cornerback Jaboree Antoine ahead of decision day
LSU was desperately searching for a cornerback in the 2025 class after top-100 prospect Jaboree Antoine decommitted last month. It found one as it landed the top uncommitted player on its board on Wednesday in DJ Pickett, the top cornerback in the country. However, that doesn’t mean the Tigers couldn’t bring Antoine back into the fold. They’ve stayed in touch with him, and as he’s set to announce his new decision on Saturday, they’re in his final two alongside Miami. Unsurprisingly, the Hurricanes are the new favorite to land him having received several predictions from On3 in the days leading up to his decision. 4-star CB Jaboree Antoine is down to Miami and LSU, he tells @ChadSimmons_👀 Antoine will announce his commitment on Saturday⏳ Read: https://t.co/OKxPCmIWXc pic.twitter.com/HS4aUJd7rV — On3 Recruits (@On3Recruits) July 18, 2024 Antoine ranks as the No. 71 player nationally as well as being a top-10 cornerback and the No. 2 overall prospect in the state of Louisiana.
