BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Rain chances will remain elevated with ample moisture and instability the next several days, starting with today at a 60% chance of showers/storms, mainly in the afternoon. Highs will be held in check this weekend, up around 90 today and upper 80s Sunday. Tonight, there could be a few storms early, then rain chances drop to zero at, or before midnight.

LSU makes the cut as 4-star safety trims list down to 2 schools
One of the top defensive backs in the 2025 recruiting class has narrowed his list of final schools down to just two schools, LSU and Stanford. CJ Jimcoily is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound, four-star safety from Nashville, Tennessee, where he plays for Lipscomb Academy. Jimcoily holds a ton of Division I offers but he has decided that only two teams are still being considered. His decision is down to the SEC and the ACC. The LSU Football team pulled off a stunner on the recruiting trail landing five-star cornerback DJ Pickett after On3 gave the Oregon Ducks as 93% chance of landing him while putting Miami ahead of LSU as well.
