Texas man dies on river rafting trip near Bethel
BETHEL, Alaska (KTUU) - The Department of Public Safety (DPS) has reported that a Texas man was killed in a boating accident on a remote river near Bethel on Friday. A DPS dispatch says that Alaska State Troopers were notified of a boating fatality on June 19 at 6:21 p.m. The fatality occurred around 53 miles Southeast of Bethel during a remote river rafting trip. Troopers did not indicate which river the incident occurred on.
