Music comes from the heart; that’s why the first sound ever heard is the heartbeat. Dante Blak is on the verge of joining a long line of rap icons coming out of the hip-hop central of New York. Dante’s future on hip-hop’s pedestal was long decided. Since a toddler, he had a passion for singing. The years would pass, and his love would grow even deeper, but with the loss of his grandmother, Dante Blak stepped away from music for about a decade. But, his calling to music was too strong to abandon forever. In 2007 Dante began making music on a consistent basis with the influence and inspiration of legendary musicians like Lauryn Hill, Nas, Sting, Michael Jackson and Sade.

Construction Progresses on Two-Tower Complex at 1 Java Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn
Construction is continuing on 1 Java Street, a two-tower residential complex along the East River in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Marvel Designs and developed and built by Lendlease, the project will yield 834 rental units across the two structures, the taller of which will stand 37 stories and 402 feet tall. Aware Super is the joint developer, INC Architecture & Design is the interior designer for the public areas, and Crème is the interior designer for the townhouse units at the complex, which is alternately addressed as 18 India Street and occupies a full block bound by India Street to the north, Java Street to the south, West Street to the east, and the India Street pier over the East River to the west.
NJ air quality alert: High levels of ground level ozone predicted Sunday for Jersey Shore
High levels of ground level ozone will lead to an air quality alert in New Jersey from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, July 7, according to the National Weather Service.
