Woman injured in Southeast crash
SOUTHEAST- A Connecticut woman who was trapped in her overturned auto for 30 minutes was freed by Brewster FD personnel Monday following the rollover crash on Milltown Road in Southeast. Nine-one calls sent responders to the scene who found the unidentified lone occupant of the Acura sports car pinned inside.
Driver inexperience leads to Mahopac crash
MAHOPAC- A 16 year old Mahopac youth who recently received his driver’s license caused a two vehicle crash last week that sent a Poughkeepsie resident to Danbury Hospital. Carmel Police and members of the Mahopac Fire Department were sent to Route 6 at Croton Falls Road Tuesday afternoon after calls were received by the Putnam 9-1-1 Center reporting a serious crash.
Woman Arrested After Attacking Patient at Somers Rehab Facility
SOMERS, N.Y. - An employee of The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has been charged with physically attacking a disabled resident, state police said. Jossette F. Firefighters Race to Combat Mount Kisco Blaze
MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - Members of the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department and other first responders were called to the scene of a three-alarm blaze at The Chase on Sunday, July 21. The home’s occupants were able to flee to safety. No firefighters were injured, Fine added. Among the units providing mutual aid were Yorktown Heights, Bedford Hills, Katonah, Pleasantville, Briarcliff, and Armonk. Due to the high heat and humidity that day, additional resources were needed to allow departments to rotate crews. CARMEL- A Carmel resident wanted in Minnesota in connection with a sexual assault was arrested Monday by Carmel Police following a hit and run crash in the county seat. Carmel Police said patrols responded to Route 6 and Stoneleigh Avenue at 10 pm and located a damaged Ford Escape with two occupants who advised the vehicle that caused the crash had fled the scene.
