Newcomerstown man extricated from vehicle following crash on U.S. 36
COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office reported a single vehicle crash shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 36, near Oxford Township Road 253. Authorities said William Jones, 49, of Newcomerstown, was traveling eastbound when he went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. He was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Genesis Coshocton Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, West Lafayette Fire Department, MedFlight, Prince's Wrecker Service and REACT.
