Keith: Yankee fans making excuses while Orioles go out and win

As the Orioles leave the Bronx with another series win, Keith says the Yankee fan seems to be walking away from the three-game set with excuses, while the O’s are departing with wins.

“They’re not making excuses,” Keith said. “They are down so many pitchers, and not making excuses. Cedric Mullins hadn’t been going pretty good. He had been struggling until he woke up in Yankee Stadium. They don’t make excuses.

“Yankee fans, we make a ton of excuses. ‘It’s the umps, they’re throwing at us,’ we try to make it everything but baseball.”

Keith says way too much time was spent by Yankee fans fuming over the Aaron Judge hit by pitch in Tuesday’s series opener, and while all the focus shifted to whether or not to retaliate, the Orioles locked in and took the series, including a 17-5 beatdown on Thursday.

“You hit three of their guys versus the two they hit. You won the bean ‘em game,” Keith said. “Can’t beat ‘em, bean ‘em.”
