NFL Analyst Rips League MVP With Four Simple Words

The ongoing debate about just how good or not-so-good Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is doesn't seem like it's ever going away. Despite being the NFL MVP in 2023, Jackson's Ravens failed to make it to the Super Bowl.

Every time Jackson struggles, his critics come out of the woodwork and this includes NFL analyst and former player, Mark Schlereth. He took to his "Stinkin' Truth Podcast" and did not hold back on how Jackson has failed to develop players around him and as a complete quarterback. But most telling was how Schlereth summed up the big secret to quieting the critics with four simple words.

"Produce in the playoffs," he said.

Schlereth addressed all the Jackson "Stans" as he put it and didn't hold back.

“I do not want to hear from all of you out there that are telling me that Lamar Jackson, well, they do not get him weapons. How many first-round wide receivers do you need to draft?," Schlereth said.

Schlereth didn't stop there. He compared Jackson to Aaron Rodgers as well as far as the level of talent they've had to work with.

“Well, your quarterback actually has a long way to go in developing wide receivers. So I don’t want to hear that bull**** from you anymore. Any of you Baltimore fans, I am tired of it. They drafted first-round tight ends and they have drafted three different wide receivers since 2018 in the first round. Aaron Rodgers went 16 or 17 years with the Green Bay Packers and they never drafted a guy in the first round."
