ESPN ranks the Ravens under-25 talent third best in NFL

The Baltimore Ravens placed third in an ESPN ranking of teams with the best talent under the age of 25. To quote “My Shot,” from the wildly popular musical Hamilton, “and just like my country, I’m young, scrappy and hungry.”

The Ravens boast a group of very talented, extremely hard-working and overly ambitious young players, led by safety Kyle Hamilton (what a natural segue this Fourth of July).

It is not a hot take to say that Hamilton, 23, is or will soon become the best overall safety in the league. After this season, he’s do for a contract extension, and his new deal could set the market for safeties.

Hamilton has been so dominant, his first two seasons in the National Football League, that a new contract could see him replace the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Antoine Winfield as the highest paid defensive back of all-time.

Then you have Zay Flowers, 23, who will be the Ravens #1 wideout in just his second year in the NFL. Flowers set a Ravens franchise record for most receptions (77) and receiving yards (858) by a rookie in 2023.

And he’s been working hard this offseason to take his game to the next level.

Next is Tyler Linderbaum, 24, a stellar center who checked in at exactly #100 in a recent top 100 players in the league list. Linderbaum made the PFWA All-Rookie team in 2022 and the Pro Bowl in 2023.

His career is very much on the upward trajectory; much like the other two members of this young, emerging trio. The future looks very bright for Hamilton, Flowers, Linderbaum and the rest of the U25 Ravens players.
