Given how deeply divided America currently is you can find somebody, somewhere, who will be outraged about pretty much anything.

What might seem like the most wholesome endeavor possible can still somehow trigger a malcontent. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson hosted the sixth annual LJ Fun Day, at the Ezell Hester Community Center in Boynton Beach, Florida on Saturday.

It was a day of enjoyment for children, and it consisted of all sorts of fun games and family friendly activities. There were even bumper cars.

So how could anyone have an issue with the reigning NFL MVP giving back to his hometown community?

Well, one Twitter user antagonized Jackson about the event, taking issue with the fact that it wasn’t held in Baltimore.

Lamar quote-tweeted his online antagonist as part of his response.

The original tweet has since been deleted, which is probably for the best. However Jackson’s response is still posted.

“I hate how yall just use the word hate,” Baltimore’s QB1 wrote.

“I do this where I come from because I witness with my own eyes nobody really doing it. Again where I come from. But I’ve definitely did things in Baltimore.

“The funny thing is I tried to have a fun day there. The same way I do here. But you have so much hate you wouldn’t know. But I don’t see yall hating these other people who in my position that do absolutely nothing but take care of their family lol nothing for the community.”

Jackson continued responding, far exceeding the 280 character limit on the app, but then stopped himself by saying: “I wanna say more lol but then I’ll be “Ranting”.
