Lamar Jackson won his second MVP award last season, making him just the 11th player in league history to receive the honor multiple times.

Already considered among the most elite players in the NFL, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh hinted Sunday at an even loftier goal for the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback.

Harbaugh says his 'vision' is that, someday, Jackson will be considered the greatest quarterback to ever play in the NFL.

"The vision that we have together is that Lamar Jackson is going to become and be known and be recognized as the greatest quarterback ever to play in the history of the National Football League," Harbaugh said, via the team website .

"That’s the vision. It’s going to happen by Lamar, his work ethic and his brilliant talent, by all of us pouring into that effort together as a team, and by the grace of God and God’s good will."

Jackson, 27, led Baltimore to an AFC North title in 2023.

As the No. 1 seed in the conference after finishing the regular season at 13-4, the Ravens enjoyed a bye in the wild card round of the AFC Playoffs before defeating CJ Stroud and the Texans in the divisional round.

Unfortunately for Baltimore, their Super Bowl hopes were dashed by the Kansas City Chiefs in a 17-10 loss to Patrick Mahomes and Co. in the AFC title game. Jackson completed 20-of-37 passes for 272 yards in the defeat, recording a touchdown, an interception, and a lost fumble.

According to several major sportsbooks, the Ravens are once again considered the favorites to win the AFC North in 2024.
